How Do I Archive a Class?

Teachers using CoderZ can archive classes that are no longer in use. Students who were enrolled to this class will no longer have access to the courses the class was assigned, and no new students can join an archived class.

All archived classes will be displayed at the bottom of your My Classes Dashboard. Teachers can still access archived classes to view their progress, and can restore them at any point.

Note: Archiving a class does not release the licenses/seats used by its students, in case the class is later restored.

To Archive a Class:

  1. Navigate to the 'My Classes' tab on the left-hand menu
  2. On the My Classes Dashboard, hover over your class and click the ‘Archive’ option

  3. In the confirmation window that opens, select ‘Yes, archive class’.

The class will be archived. Students will no longer have access to its courses and no new students will be able to join this class.

To Restore an Archived Class

  1. Navigate to the 'My Classes' tab on the left-hand menu
  2. On the My Classes Dashboard, find the archived class you wish to restore (you can filter by ‘Archived classes’), hover over it, and click the ‘Restore’ option
