MOVJ

MOVJ (Move Joint) is a Motion command that instructs the robot arm to move to a specific position, which you have previously recorded and saved. MOVJ is not a specific type of interpolation. The motion path that the Tool Center Point (TCP) will take between two positions cannot be predicted or calculated. Rather, each joint moves simultaneously to a specified position to move the TCP as quickly and efficiently as possible.

If MOVJ is being used, it means the motion path is not important. What is important is that the tool arrives at the position quickly.

This type of interpolation is most useful for material handling tasks.
