Want to move a motor to a specific position?
You can do that using a motor's encoder and the Set Target Position block!
If a motor is configured as one that has an encoder, you can use the Set Target Position block to rotate it to a specific position.
|get||Select the motor to rotate.||
Defines the target encoder position for the selected motor to move to.
-∞ to ∞
|setPower||Sets the power (%) at which to rotate the selected motor.||
|-100 to 100|
Hints and Tips
- The PITSCO DC Motor Encoder has 1440 encoder counts per revolution. Different transmissions will require a different number of encoder counts per revolution.
- Use the Simulation's HUD Info to view the encoder position as a motor rotates.
